Privacy Policy for Ecommerce SEO Technical Audit

At RazorGrowth.com, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the data of your Shopify store. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle information when you install and use the Ecommerce SEO Technical Audit application (the “App”) on your Shopify store.

1. Information the App Accesses

To provide your store with an SEO audit, the App requests access to specific store metadata through Shopify’s standard Application Program Interfaces (APIs). We only look at structural content, which includes:

  • Product Information: Product titles and meta descriptions.

  • Collection Information: Collection titles and meta descriptions.

  • Pages & Blog Articles: Page titles, blog post titles, and their respective meta descriptions.

We DO NOT collect, look at, or access any personal customer information (PII), such as customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, or payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the accessed store metadata strictly to run the technical SEO scan. The App checks the character length of your titles and descriptions against recommended search engine guidelines and identifies missing tags.

This data is processed in real-time to generate your on-screen dashboard and compile your downloadable CSV report.

3. Data Storage and Retention

We believe in keeping your data secure by not storing what we don’t need.

  • No Permanent Storage: Your store’s product and page metadata is processed temporarily to run your scan. We do not save your store’s SEO content on our own external databases or servers.

  • No Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your store data or information with any third-party advertisers or external companies.

4. Shopify Mandatory Webhooks (GDPR Compliance)

The App fully integrates with Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks to support merchant and customer data rights under global privacy laws (like GDPR and CCPA):

  • Customer Data Request / Deletion: Because our App never collects or stores any customer data, we hold zero customer records to delete or share.

  • Shop Data Deletion: When you uninstall the App from your Shopify admin panel, Shopify automatically sends a request to clear any session tokens. Any temporary configurations are fully removed within 48 hours.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we make changes, we will post them on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.
